The Tecom
Challenger system is designed as a fully integrated access control and
intruder detection system - integration of these elements economises
user operations and increases the versatility of the system hardware, to
provide a cost effective solution.
A Challenger system can be expanded to monitor literally thousands of
alarm points across an organisation, including: motion detectors, smoke
alarms, door position switches, duress alarms, etc. There are also
options to incorporate the monitoring of wireless detectors where site
conditions prevent the ease of cabling installation.
The system can be divided into multiple areas or system partitions,
which allows the system to be used as if multiple individual alarm
systems had been installed. The Challenger system provides the benefit
of site wide monitoring through a single interface of all these
partitions, making multi-tenanted alarm management a breeze.

enables complete software-driven, true digital motion detection.
With an optical protective sleeve and white light protected lens the
Digital Z0DIAC PIR prevents false alarms.

Technology automatically switches from dual-channel to single-channel
microwave detection, giving you the best of both worlds.

heat detection of the PIR with the high sensitivity to movement of
Microwave technology - perfect for indoor environments where heat from
windows can be extreme. In the iWise, both technologies need to detect
